What you need:
What you do:
1. Wash and dry each baby food jar completely. Save the lids for another fun kid’s craft.
2. Decorate each jar by carefully drawing holiday symbols on the outside of the jars. Santa Claus, holly and ivy, Christmas trees or bows are all great ideas for decorations.
3. In the bottom of each jar place a votive or tea candle. Put a layer or two of cinnamon candies around the candles. When the candle melts it will heat up and melt the candies giving off a pretty color and delicious smell.
4. Around the top of the jar where the lid would screw on tie a pretty bow made from holiday ribbon. You can also wrap shiny tinsel trim and tiny bells as well. Be creative and put on your thinking cap. You can make all your candles the same or make each one different. It is totally up to you.
5. Now put out your candles to enjoy and share some with a friend.
NOTE: If you don’t have baby food jars you can use small votive candle holders that can be found in dollar stores or even thrift stores.
