St. Patrick's' Day Paper Plate WreathAn Easy March Craft for Kids
The pot of gold at the end of this rainbow and shamrock paper plate wreath makes a lucky greeting for St. Patrick's Day visitors.
It’s also a simple craft for kids that’s great to make at home, or as part of a classroom activity or group project. To make the wreath, you’ll need a paper plate and some basic craft supplies. You can either draw the shamrocks and pot of gold yourself (or have older kids draw their own), or you can download the free St. Patrick’s Day shamrock and pot of gold patterns. You can then print the patterns on plain paper and trace them on green and black paper, or you can print them directly on green paper to make the craft even easier. To make this craft with very young children, you may want to have the shamrocks and pot of gold precut for them, and work with them to draw the rainbow and assemble the wreath. Make a St. Patrick’s Day Wreath
You can hang the St. Patrick’s Day wreath on a door by hooking the paper plate directly over a nail, or by adding a loop of ribbon to the top of the wreath. Simply cut a piece of green ribbon, and glue both ends to the back of the top of the wreath.
